Songcarrier

Plain and simple

Your privacy

What this site collects, why, and how to ask me to change or remove it.

Songcarrier is run by me, Francie La Flow (Pure Flow Yoga), from Ubud, Bali. I keep what you share to the minimum I need, I never sell it, and there are no advertising trackers on this site. Any question at all: [email protected].

Song of the Month

When you sign up, I keep your first name (if you give it) and your email address, plus the page you signed up on. They are stored with Kit, the email service I use. I use them to send you the Song of the Month and, now and then, news of my music, circles and offerings. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and one click takes you off the list.

Messages and songwriter updates

When you send a correction, suggest a song, or share your links, events or images through a form here, it comes to my inbox and is kept on my website’s server (pureflow.yoga) so I can add it to the site. Images and event details you send are meant to be shown publicly on your page and the events page. Your email address is never shown.

Visits

The site is hosted by Cloudflare. I use Cloudflare’s privacy-first analytics to count visits and see which songs people look for. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t follow you to other sites.

Music players and fonts

Song pages include players from SoundCloud, YouTube and Spotify so you can hear the songs. Those players come from their own companies and follow their own privacy policies. YouTube videos load in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. The fonts come from Google Fonts.

Things your browser remembers

Your browser remembers whether you chose night mode and whether you’ve closed the sign-up box, so it doesn’t keep asking. That stays on your device and never comes to me.

Your choices

You can ask me to show you what I hold about you, correct it or delete it. Write to [email protected] and I’ll take care of it.

Spot a mistake, or a song missing?

A wrong chord, a credit that needs fixing, a word that's off, or a song you'd love to see here. Tell me and I'll take a look.

Songwriters: if one of your songs is here, I'd love to hear from you too.
